FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Q:  IN WHAT FORMAT WILL THE WARRIOR PAGES BE PRODUCED?

A:  The Warrior Pages will be a PDF directory, with links to the advertiser’s sites and/or Warrior Forum threads.  There has been some discussion about a possible future physical product, but that will depend on a number of factors, and will be MUCH further down the line.

Q:  HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY AD WON’T BE LISTED IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUNCH OF SPAMMERS, BLACK-HATTERS, AND/OR GRAMMATICALLY DISASTROUS LISTINGS?

A:  Unfortunately, I can't police everyone's work, which is why I encourage you to include a link to samples of your work. If Black Hat or unethical  techniques are advertised, I will promptly issue a refund to the submitter and politely decline to list their ad. If the ad copy is atrocious, I will contact the contributor to encourage editing, and/or refund their money and not include it. This is not intended to be a cheap classifieds, but a quality resource directory. Once the first edition is live and I start to get feedback, I may implement a rating system of some sort: 1-5 stars or something.

Q:  CAN I SEE A TEMPLATE OR A SAMPLE PAGE?

The advertisements will be one or two to a page, depending upon which one you pay for. The layout for each ad may vary slightly, depending upon the information each person provides, but will be as uniform as I can make them otherwise. There will also be a hyperlinked table of contents. Rest assured, this will be a quality ebook format, not a slapped together list that is then converted to pdf.

Q:  WILL YOU HAVE A SITE & DRIVE TRAFFIC?

A:  The site for this is at http://TheWarriorPages.com  I will be driving traffic, advertising, distributing, posting the directory on various sites and forums.  This will be a great way to get exposure to your service!

Q:  IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN AD AND WHEN WILL THE FIRST EDITION BE PUBLISHED?

 
A:  There have been unavoidable delays in creating the first edition of  The Warrior Pages.  As soon as I get closer to being ready to accept advertisements, I notify everyone on the Advertisement email list.  I will post a pending deadline here on the FAQ page.  Be sure to sign up if you are interested in advertising.

Q:  WILL YOU CREATE MY LISTING OR SHOULD I?

A:  You should provide all of the information for your advertisement.  I will be formatting the pages, but your information should all be there for me to use.  Anything you leave out will not be in your ad.  If you are unable to craft a grammatically suitable ad, you can contact me  regarding my paid editing rates.

A:  No, the whole point of The Warrior Pages is to allow options for people who are looking for service providers to outsource to.  If your work is good, you shouldn’t have a problem generating enough business to more than pay for your ad.  If it’s not, you probably don’t belong in The Warrior Pages anyway. 

Q:  CAN I INCLUDE TESTIMONIALS?

 
A:  Yes, and I highly encourage it, but keep them brief.  Ad size is limited, and too much space given to testimonials reduces the amount of pertinent information you will have room to include.  Just remember the size of your ad, and keep the total ad to that size. 

Q: CAN I PUT DIRECT PAY BUTTONS IN MY AD?

A:  No, I think that it would be better for all involved if you put a link to your website and have your payment button there.  If you don’t have a full site for your service, feel free to link to your Warrior Forum thread.
